House Republicans will launch a 12-hour online town hall meeting to discuss health reform legislation tomorrow.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) and House Republican Conference Chairman Mike Pence (R-Ind.) jointly announced a half-day town hall to be broadcast starting at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The town hall comes on the same day as House conservatives, led by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and joined by senior GOP leaders, will host a "House call" on the Capitol to encourage constituents to confront their lawmakers over the health bill.
In addition to pence, GOP Reps. Paul Ryan (Wisc.), Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Peter Roskam (Ill.), Lynn Westmoreland (Ga.), and Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) are expected to participate, with more lawmaker involvement expected to be added.
The forum, according to an RNC release on Wednesday, will be called "Pelosi Plan Exposed," and will break up the 12-hour broadcast into twelve, hour-long section on "truths" about the House healthcare reform bill.
Viewers will be able to interact with lawmakers through email, Twitter, and Facebook, according to the RNC.
The breakdown of the hourly section in the broadcast are:
