Myst gets several hundred hits here at GOPBR within a few hours of releasing a new one. Then when you post, I see a big spike.
As you well know, keeping an audience on the Internet is hard work. And pretty much thankless in terms of monetary reward. But it's fun, and the rewards come from fellowship with like-minded travelers, and of course their accolades. Plus (as I like to tell my students) it's a lot more fun making sausage than eating sausage.
