IRS Employees Owe $50 Million In Back Taxes, Audit FindsFederal employees collectively owe $1.5 billion in taxesBy Luke RosiakJul 29, 2024 DailyWire.comInternal Revenue Service employees and contractors owe a collective $50 million in back taxes, a new audit by the Treasury Department’s inspector general found.Of the more than 3,800 IRS employees who owe back taxes, 2,000 have not even established a payment plan. More than 50 of these delinquent employees have remained employed by the IRS for five years or more. The sad part is that if they all ponied up those back taxes, it would not keep the federal government going for five minutes.~$6.2 trillion in FY 2023=$11,796,042 per minute, on average.
The REALLY sad part is that we still have the Marxist income tax!"the oppression arising from taxation, is not from the amount but, from the mode -- a thorough acquaintance with the condition of the people, is necessary to a just distribution of taxes. The whole wisdom of the science of Government, with respect to taxation, consists in selecting the mode of collection which will best accommodate to the convenience of the people."Patrick Henry, Virginia Ratifying Convention June 12, 1788
