CNN Panel Explodes Into CHAOS During Squabble About Kamala’s Refusal To Take Questions

A panel of so-called political analysts on CNN exploded into a heated argument about whether the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris is taking the right tack in shielding her from unscripted interactions with the media going into her third week on the trail.

The discussion followed an hourlong press conference staged by former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence where he lambasted Democrats for pushing President Joe Biden out of the race and knocked Harris as not “smart enough” to debate him. The vice president has agreed to honor Biden’s commitment to a September 10th debate but has rebuffed Trump’s calls for additional showdowns, saying she would make a decision after their first.

“When is Harris going to start taking questions? Taking two questions on the way from the tarmac is not taking questions,” one panelist said in reaction to a 70-second stop that Harris had with reporters on her way to a campaign event. The appearance was essentially the only one she has held since launching her presidential campaign, sticking instead to tightly controlled speeches backed by teleprompters. Another agreed that Trump’s pressure has helped to “trap her” into eventually talking to the media.

Reporters deserve what they get.  After all, it is the news pukes that created the environment of low contact Democommie politicians not having to answer to them or the public.

What we have here is Harris repeating what Biden did in 2020, and winning an election.  Next to zero contact with the media, and the media fawn all over these POSs like they are subjects bowing before royalty.

The only other strategy here IMO, is to sow seeds for a Convention 'coup' and to dump Harris-Walz for a completely different ticket.

Because their thought process is that Pres. Trump is universally disliked, they could raise Hillary Clinton up like a Phoenix and beat Trump-Vance outright...without middle-of-the-night broken water pipes and other assorted shenanigans.

I don't see that.  The polls are saying she has risen to par with Trump.  That is all they needed, to put her in proximity to Trump, so when the fix took place, IF NEEDED, it is plausible that she won.  She does not have to have a single interview by media, she need not campaign.  They can orchestrate another 2020 rather readily.
